She met her husband in 2010 and the pair have been happily married since 2015. She and her husband both work full time and have two dogs, otherwise lovingly referred to as their “fur-babies.” In early 2016, the pair welcomed their first (human) child, a son, followed by their beautiful daughter in late 2017 and their final bundle of joy in late 2021. They currently reside in the Midwest.
She considers herself to be well-educated and holds several degrees. She works full-time, 40+ hours a week, manages a household and a marriage, and (for the most part) keeps her sanity. She is a Christian who feels blessed beyond measure to be both a mother and a wife. As will be evident from some of the content on this page, she also identifies herself as a moderately conservative republican and a proud American.
The Real Truth…the mom gig is hard. It is ugly, messy, unpredictable, and chaotic. Full of stained yoga pants, messy buns, three-day old make-up, tears, poop, slobber, and lack-of sleep hallucinations. But the mom gig is also wonderful, beautiful, and fulfilling. The sweet sound of a child laughing, the pitter-patter of a toddler running, late night cuddles, and the “mama, I love you’s” are little reminders that the three-day old make-up, the tears (your child’s and your own), the poop and the slobber staining your yoga pants are pretty much the best things about your life.
